Trials are special content which features NPCs that you can fight to obtain their mock units, or challenge to get some sweet spheres. If you have played the original Brave Frontier, you would know what Trials are one of the most fun content, especially when you're looking for a challenge. Brave Frontier 2 continues the same feature with new bosses to defeat and elevates it to the next level with special missions/book achievements! ---- Trials 1 -3 are designed to see if you can follow simple fight mechanics. Sasha will warm you up with relentless attacks and standard turn counting mechanics. Roy will spice it up a bit with some turns where you need to Guard. Joshua combines both mechanics to test how well you can react against his plethora of self buffs, with the addition of some annoying debuffs from two mini-bosses. You can Guard through the nukes on Phase 2 given that you don't have any Paralyzed units and the entire party is at ~full HP. Use Lancia + Phoenix UBB to shave off some HP and heal a bit. Use the yellow drugs if you have a Paralysis problem. Use the Injury sphere to weaken her attacks. Once they're dead, the fight becomes easy. Furthermore, you would need a max Earth squad for Trial 4 anyway. Burn Emilia or get Paralyzed to death. Guard every 5 turns when he AoEs and buffs hit count.
